Stretching

Stretching ist ein vollendetes Ganzkörpertraining zur Verbesserung Deiner Flexibilität und Deines Körperbewusstseins oder zur Vorbereitung auf Kontorsion. Mit unseren Kursen “Basic Stretching” bieten wir einen optimalen Einstieg für alle, die noch keine oder kaum Vorerfahrung haben, und wenn dir nach dem Erlernen der Grundtechniken nach “mehr” ist, kannst du gezielt in unseren “Stretching Intensive” Kursen trainieren. Hier legen wir den Fokus jeweils auf “Splits” (Spagat) oder “Backbends” (Rückbeugen).

Contortion

Contorion is a circus discipline which uses extreme flexibility to shape the body into seemingly impossible postures. With contortion training we systematically increase strength and flexibility of individual areas of the body in order to achieve complex and demanding figures. The training is challenging and requires commitment, but progress is very rewarding. At "Beginner" Level you will intensely deepen your flexibility and learn your first "tricks", while at "Advanced" Level previous contorion experience and an independent physical preparation before class are expected.

Handstand & Akrobatik

Balancing on your own hands is a dignified and simultaneously playful acrobatic practice. With preparatory exercises and targeted activation of relevant muscle groups you will learn how to build strength and therefore prevent injuries of your wrists and shoulders. Step by step we will improve technique and alignment for balancing in a forearmstand or handstand, and work on variations and shapes. In our acrobatics classes we will additionally practice anything from a cartwheel to a backflip, as well as acrobatic sequences and partner acrobatics.

Aerial Hammock

An von der Decke hängenden Tuchschlaufen werden tänzerische Elemente und Luftakrobatik trainiert. Auch als kompletter Anfänger kannst Du mit viel Spass sehr schnell die nötige Kraft aufbauen, Deine Flexibilität verbessern und Deine Koordination und Körperwahrnehmung schulen. Schritt für Schritt lernst Du akrobatische Elemente und ästhetische Figuren, die wir zu fließenden Sequenzen und Choreographien verbinden. Die Symbiose aus Kraft, Flexibilität und Eleganz ist ein perfektes Ganzkörper-Training, das die Wirbelsäule – durch das Hängen über Kopf – entlastet.

On site at the studio we train Stretching, Contortion and Handstand in small groups with hands-on adjustments and support from our experienced professional trainers. Private Classes are available on demand.

Online Kurse & On Demand Videos

Our Live Online Classes also have a limited number of participants and are therefore individual and client focused. Comfortably you can train with us from home or on vacation. Our On-Demand-Videos with classes to follow along you can use anytime and everywhere for your IMA Training.

Workshops & Retreats

On specific subjects we invite internationally renowned guest trainers to Berlin for workshop intensives and weekend specials Training camps and retreats are planned to take place at beatiful places of the world.

Teacher Trainings

For interested candidates with previous experience in the aereas of flexibility or rhythmic gymnastics we offer professional trainings as stretching or contortion trainers. These trainings are carried out by highly qualified teacher trainers with long years of practical experience in training, performing and teaching. Dates and information on request.
